Yawn. Science is catching up with what we "crazies" in the so-called paranormal community have known for some time now. 1. We already are telepathic. We are conditioned and programmed to ignore and devalue our intuition/instincts/psychic senses/soul senses (whatever name you prefer). Telepathy, in fact, is just one of four soul senses. 2. Of course sound can heal. After more than 100 years, science is finally getting to the full meaning of E = MC2. Matter and energy are fundamental equivalents. But so are consciousness and love. Expand the meaning of Einstein's equivalence equation and it's easy to see why/how sound interacts with matter, like the physical body. 3. Sound can also harm and even kill. This is a two-edged sword. I fully expect the major militaries of the world have already developed sound weapons and are itching to unleash them in another dominance display. God help us.

How much of this health data will go to data centers for AI to then know everything about us? Seems like a dangerous double-edged sword.

It’s not sci-fi, it’s lo-fi.

you do realize that scans WILL find 'incidentalomas", many of which would have no repercussions if not discovered but when discovered will almost necessitate treatment, some of which will kill people.

writing from the UK Ted I too have had to undergo several MRI scans and CT scan and a cardiac scan which made me radioactive for 24 hours. All on the national Health Service and all free….no expensive insurance needed. I feel for you in the USA with all these attacks on Obamacare and ordinary people voting for a government which actively attacks public health care. I only hope ordinary americans come to their senses and realise what is clearly in their own best interests. Its not until the finger of fate points at you individually that the collective dimension dawns. For socialised medicine to work we do need to understand that we are all in this together. Rich or poor we all get sick in the same ways.

"...early imaging could eliminate 50% of all healthcare costs". I wonder what United Healthcare thinks about that possibility.

They will think it should double their profit margins, especially if they come to own the technology, and the customers.

Ted, yes healing sounds have been going on for at least 40,000 years for the aboriginals, and also the rainforest people I stayed with in Indonesia. Nice to see us slowly catching up.

Sound has been used for healing for thousands of years! Singing bowls, Reiki, Tibetan chanting, and much more!

I kept thinking “that Midjourney?” Surely there’s something they’re not telling us in all of this.

Interesting stuff. Music lights up the entire brain when we sing. Exciting times ahead

I recently finished treatment for a tumor in my tonsil, and I’m now looking at CT and PET scans every 3 to 6 months FOREVER! So I’m really hoping this stuff comes online fast!

Ted, Check out NeuroArts. It is a new organization of talented musicians, neurologists, microbiologists, and more. I also use music on a daily basis to keep myself composed and emotionally well in our trying times. My check up with the Dr. this week indicated I am making very good progress with my hypertension, diabetes and Asthma. Breath is another little understood means of enhancing health.

Ted, that was very interesting. Science is slowly catching up with reality.

Funny how tech people are aspiring to do tech telepathy, which may already exist without benefit of technology.

I happened to know Montague Ullman, the late dream researcher and co-author of "Dream Telepathy." One day I was at the office of his close friend (and mine), psychologist Dr. Lloyd Gilden, in NYC. This was after the death of Dr. Ullman. I was idly looking toward Dr. Gilden's bookshelf and I had a strange feeling that my attention was being drawn, as if by a magnet, to a book across from me, which happened to be "Dream Telepathy." It felt just a little bit odd, but not a big deal, so I let it pass.

I should note here that while a lot of people are interested in "dreamwork" or keeping dream journals, and the like, I am not one of them. I considered "Monty" to be a really good conventional therapist, who also had a career on the occult side of the street.

Two days later I happened to be assisting a friend taking group pictures of elementary school kids. After we had finished the first one, one of the girls came up to me and told she wanted to tell me something. I wondered what that could be?

She told me that I was "in her dream last night."

Whaaat?

Took me about two seconds to put together what she said, plus the experience with the book. Was reality (or Monty) trying to tell me something?

I had never been to that school before, and don't even live in that town.

Quite a few of us here have probably read books such as "Autobiography of a Yogi" or "Be Here Now" and maybe had experiences in accord with them. Certainly near death experiences are all over the internet these days. If we asked for a show of hands, I'll bet that a large number of readers here have had "weird" experiences. Is reality trying to tell us something?

We assume duality is real, but if reality is actually one, then that would explain how telepathy is possible, similarly to non-local effects in physics. Maybe we have all been blind and need to learn to see this, or believe this.

FWIW Fully back in the regular here and now, how about this fellow who seems to be a master of longevity?
