I think given the context I have every right to spread my righteous indignation to whatever corner of this conversation I feel it should go. That’s the miracle of the human mind. I have so many thoughts and so little opportunity to speak them in a place where those who actually have power might read my words. Isn’t that asinine? But it’s true.

Apologies for sounding prescriptive or condescending. Of course you’re welcome to write whatever you like. I don’t know if you had a chance to read my initial comment, but it was in the same vein of endorsing Ted’s proposal and encouraging others inspired by his thoughtfully optimistic vision not to get derailed by perfectionism (theoretical or applied) or digression (intellectual or interpersonal)—but to act collectively (as you deftly advocated!) from bottom up and top down to reconfigure this corrupted nexus of art and commerce. Hence my header: “Yes, AND…” I value your voice and hope we’ll continue envisioning this more creative, just, and joyful alternate system together!
